Hittner & Associates has established a relationship with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to provide technology consultation to the various franchises and league office. The professional services contract will run through the 2011-2012 season and focuses on assisting coaches and general managers on how to better use technology with their respective organizations. Areas of emphasis include scouting, video breakdown, player analysis, and game strategy.

For the second time in three years, the Association of State and Local Agencies (ASLA) has named Hittner & Associates its outstanding professional services firm in the Western US in the "emerging small business" category. The current award is for 2007 with H&A previously winning the award for 2005. The category covers professional services firms with fewer than 200 employees.
